Make A Donation

The Victoria Foundation welcomes donations of any amount directly or online through our portal at CanadaHelps.

By phone:

Call 250.381.5532 to make a donation by credit card directly via the Victoria Foundation.

By cheque:

Send cheques to the Victoria Foundation at #109 – 645 Fort Street, Victoria, BC, V8W 1G2. Please ensure they are made out to the Victoria Foundation. Note the designated fund in the memo line or in a cover letter.

With publicly listed securities:

Complete the Donation Form for Gifts of Securities and send a copy to your broker and to the Victoria Foundation. We will look after the rest.

Contact us at info@victoriafoundation.bc.ca or 250.381-5532 for information and advice about setting up your own fund or learning about existing funds that support the causes you care about. You will also find more information on our website’s Giving section.

Online:

At our CanadaHelps* portal, click on the “Donate Now” box. You may designate your gift to any of our funds, including our leadership funds, by selecting from the pull-down menu or by writing in the “message/instructions” box. All donations over $20 will immediately receive a taxable receipt.

CanadaHelps is a registered charity and public foundation on a mission to make giving simple. Through CanadaHelps.org, anyone can donate online to any registered Canadian charity. The Victoria Foundation may receive one-time donations or monthly donations through CanadaHelps.org. 

CanadaHelps assesses a 3.9 per cent transaction fee on each donation. This amount is deducted before the donation is sent to the Victoria Foundation. This 3.9 per cent covers all credit card merchant fees, transaction fees, banking costs, receipting, reconciliation and disbursement.

  • CanadaHelps offers options to donate now or monthly.
  • You may pay with VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Interac or through a PayPal account.
  • After you pay for your gift, CanadaHelps.org will send you an online receipt.
  • There are several privacy permissions available: if you choose to include your name and address in the information that is sent to the Victoria Foundation, we will be pleased to let your designated organization know that a contribution has been made to their fund.
