In addition to supporting charitable organizations in the community, the Victoria Foundation also works on a number of community initiatives that help to improve the understanding of important issues in our community and the best ways to address them.

1% for the planet supports an alliance of businesses committed to creating a healthier planet. The Victoria Foundation actively promotes the program in Greater Victoria.

A partnership of organizations – including the Victoria Foundation – dedicated to measuring and promoting well-being in Greater Victoria.
 

Vital Youth
This Victoria Foundation program gives students in seven Capital Region high schools hands-on experience in being philanthropists by having them research and recommend charitable grant allocations annually

Literacy Victoria's Bookmobile lends books to some of Victoria's most marginalized individuals.
