The Victoria Foundation's goal is to help you achieve your philanthropic goals while maximizing the benefit to the community. To accomplish this, the Foundation offers services to help you reflect upon and identify your charitable goals and make donations to fulfill those objectives.

The Foundation’s knowledgeable staff specializes in providing timely, personal advice and assistance about charitable giving. We encourage you to contact our Donor Services team to explore your charitable goals and the different types of funds and grantmaking opportunities that exist to fulfil them.

For examples of the work supported by the Victoria Foundation and its donor-advised funds, see the list of discretionary grants approved in November, 2011 to support 58 projects in 2012. These grants - totaling just over $800,000 - bring to $9.36 million the number of grants awarded by the foundation so far this year to support the work of non-profit organizations on Vancouver Island.
