Community Grants

Community grants are available for charitable organizations within the Capital Regional District and the southern Gulf Islands (formerly the County of Victoria).

The Goodwill Perpetual Trust Fund is the one exception with funds available for projects pertaining to education and employment opportunities for adults living with developmental disabilities throughout all of Vancouver Island and in Powell River.

Community organizations can apply for funding using our application form (which will be posted here March 1, 2011).  Granting decisions are based on input from staff andCommunity Advisors, then recomendations are made to the Board of Directors by the Community Engagement Committee.
